Our most popular health assessment (approx. 30 minutes)
The MOT includes some body composition tests (body fat percentage and waist to hip ratio), which can be hugely beneficial if you’re concerned about body shape or you’re looking for some help with weight management. The weighing scales don’t always tell the full story, especially if you are exercising to try to lose body fat. As muscle is denser and weighs more than fat by volume, by distinguishing your body fat from the rest of your body, you can determine your perfect weight target.
With diabetes on the increase, testing your blood glucose levels may prove to be significant. Cholesterol and blood pressure control are vital for reducing the risk of heart disease, and a urine test can also show signs of diabetes, kidney problems or urinary tract infections.
What’s included ?
The assessment takes about 30 minutes, and for a fee of just £45 includes the following measurements or tests:
- Body mass index (BMI).
- Blood pressure.
- Finger prick blood glucose.
- Finger prick blood cholesterol.
- Waist to hip ratio.
- Body fat percentage.
- Hydration status.
- Urine test.
- Written report.
